Internship Program Description
Invisible Wounds Therapy and Wellness provides therapeutic services for those struggling with Anxiety and/ or past Trauma (including PTSD, childhood or complex trauma). We provide services for everyone and specialize in working with First Responders, Helpers and Healers or "Anxious Professionals." We also provide therapy services for those with an immigration, ex- pat or international background. We pride ourselves in providing evidenced- based approaches such as Eye- Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) Therapy, Cognitive- Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Cognitive Processing Therapy (CPT), Dialectic- Behavioural Therapy (DBT) and Acceptance- Commitment Therapy.(ACT).

Ideal Candidates
Our ideal intern will be interested in learning not only the craft of therapy but also mental health practice. They will enjoy working alongside a team and independently (if teleworking) and don’t mind taking initiative with a motivated mindset toward learning. Most interns will be graduate level students working toward their Masters while some will be undergraduates with a strong focus on therapy and counseling.
